WHAT IS PILATES?
Pilates is an exercise method designed by Joseph H. Pilates, originally called “CONTROLOGY.” Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control, alignment, breathing and developing a strong core (aka, “The Powerhouse”). Pilates sessions include mat work, spring resistance training using specialized equipment and props.
